Combine bank statements

Every bank statement, in one place.

A bank, a second bank, a card, an e-wallet. Upload the statements and Smara puts every transaction into one combined view, so you finally see all your money together instead of in five apps.

No bank login, no bank connection, ever. You upload the files yourself.

The usual way

Combining accounts by hand is the chore nobody misses.

You download each statement, open a spreadsheet, and key it in row by row. Miss one and the totals quietly stop matching, so you spend the evening hunting your own typo. We did this every month, refused to connect our accounts to anyone, and got tired of it. Smara is what we built instead.

How it works
01

Export a statement from each account.

Download the PDF or CSV from each bank, card or e-wallet. No login shared, no connection made; the file never leaves your hands until you upload it.

02

Smara reads it and sorts the month.

Every row is read and laid out for you to check, money in green and money out red, before anything saves. As it learns your regular merchants, it starts filling in their categories too.

03

All of it lands in one combined view.

Each account flows into the same place, in its own currency, with your total across everything at the top. One picture, not five.

Why we don't link your bank

Most apps that combine accounts ask to log into your bank. We don't, and we can't.

Smara has no bank connection in it at all. It only ever sees the statements you choose to upload. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, it is never sold, and you can export all of it whenever you like.

Why no bank connection?

Questions

Combining accounts, answered.

Do I have to connect my bank to combine my statements?

No. Smara has no bank connection at all. You export the statement from each bank yourself and upload it, so combining your accounts never means handing over a bank login.

What file types can I upload?

A PDF or CSV statement from any bank, card or e-wallet that lets you download one, which is nearly all of them. There is no supported-bank list to check; if you can export the file, Smara can read it.

Statements from different banks look nothing alike. Does that matter?

No. Smara reads each layout and lays the transactions out the same way, so a statement from one bank and a statement from another end up in the same combined view. You review the rows before anything is saved.

Can I combine accounts in different currencies?

Yes. Each account keeps its own currency and Smara shows your total across all of them, so accounts in two countries still add up to one picture.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan combines all your accounts in one place and reads two statement uploads a month for you. Premium adds unlimited uploads. There is no separate trial; the free plan is yours to keep.

See every account in one place, without giving up your bank login.
